We will be going on an adventure to try and find 26 different animal adjectives. As you know our principal just informed us that we will be opening a Zoo in the backyard of our school. But, Guess what! There are no animals yet, and he needs OUR help finding them! We need to find 26 different animals, but we also need to describe each one of them with as many different adjectives as we can. Principal will then pick to see if our describing words will sell the animals to him or not, kind of like our animals are going on an interview.
Task.
As the little zookeepers, I want you to choose 3 animals that you think should be part of our zoo. I want you to draw pictures of each animal, and then come up with as many different adjectives as you can, about each animal you choose. After we have all completed our zoo, we will present each animal to our principal.
Exploring the sites I provide you will help you learn more about adjectives and how they help us. You will have to complete a number of adjective exercises to help you become more of an adjective pro! After you've masted learning about adjectives, you will then start the interview process with each animal you find.
Since you're an adjective expert now, you may begin choosing your animals for the zoo!
Draw a picture of the three animals you choose to interview.
Draw them explaining all of the adjectives you think describe them best.
Tell me about your animals in a short couple of sentences, remember USE LOTS OF ADJECTIVES.
Interview Process.
Now that you've shown me all of your hard work, lets talk about the interview...
We are going to show our principal all the different animals that we think are best for our Zoo. He is going to then choose which animals he thinks are best for our school! This is why you picked the best adjectives possible to explain these different animals! We are trying to sell these animals to our principal! Tell him why he should pick your animals!
